Christmas Day

Okay is this not the cutest hooded towel you have ever seen!!  I love it!!!

Baby JJ loves his new high chair why you ask,  well because he loves to eat!!!

The girls love their new robes!!!  Hello Diva Paige!!!

Waiting for santa

Baby JJ is dreaming of a new high chair and chew toys he hopes santa will bring him!!

This crazy haired girl is wishing for a my little pony amuzement park, although she is bound and determined to be on Santa's naughty list--imagine that!!!

Don't let her bright eyes fool you-her favorite christmas ornament says "I'd rather be naughty"
she is hoping for a hair salon and my little pet shop fitness center.

Syd is dreaming of the Wii and a plush I dog!!

Can you tell who is naughty or nice??  What happened to you better not pout?  I let the kids open their christmas PJ's on christmas eve which is a family tradition.   They are just slightly excited that Santa is on his way.  This year Syd and I tracked Santa on Norad.  It was really very exciting seeing him make his trek across the world.

Christmas Eve Breakfast

I have been wanting to have a party for some time now but little baby has made it almost impossible until now.  So I decided to have a christmas eve breakfast and invite some of the neighborhood crew to join us.  We ate Kneaders baked french toast, a beautiful fruit tray provided by pam,  a yummy ham and potato dish from Becca, OJ, Blueberry coffee cake(recipe given to me by Suzanne), Muffins, Apple Cider, &  Hot Chocolate.  It was all so delicious!!!  It was so fun to get together with friends.  We are very grateful to have these friendships and live in the area we live in.

Meeting Santa!!!

At the end of Abby's Christmas program Santa stopped by.  The girls were so excited to tell him their christmas lists.  He gave the girls candy canes and little bracelets.  Oh if I could only use the saying "Santa is watching you and will bring you coal if your Naughty" all year long!!!

Abby's preschool christmas program

Abby's Preschool.  Her class has only 13 students.  She was very excited to perform.  In fact the very next day she said that she wanted to do it again!!  She sang Joy to the World and Jesus our brother.  Once again I have a cute video but it will not load on to the blog!!!!

They entered to the Nutcracker suite while pretending to ice skate.

Paige and baby J excited to see Abby perform.

Abby's very sweet teachers Mrs. Engle and Mrs. Rodriguez.

Some of my favorite Things

I love christmas time, especially when all the decorating is done!!!!  The first tree you see is our family tree, it is covered by ornaments the kids have made, and other great ornaments they get each year.  It is a family tradition to get an ornament each year for christmas, this started from my parents.  I asked once why and my mom told me it was so I could have ornaments for my own tree when I left the house, and I am so thankful for that.  Me and the girls love unwrapping the ornaments each year and remembering christmas past as we put them on the tree.  I do have to admit though, I love the fullness of this tree but I swear under my breath that next year I will get a pre-lit tree!!!!
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
My upstairs woodsy tree--love it!!
I call tis the Red room
Oh and on Thursday of this week we got our first big snow storm!!  Our dog Kody loves the snow I think he is part Husky!!!

Nothing like the lights at Temple Square

I was so excited to go to temple square to see all the christmas lights.  We just happened to go on the most beautiful night, the weather was perfect.  We went with some of our favorite Utah friends:  The Hortons, Hancey's, and Robinsons.

We had a great time visiting with everyone!!!
